For nearly two decades I directed the development of digital platforms for several of the country's media outlets. At RTVC, the public media system, I led projects such as RTVCPLAY and the portals of Señal Colombia, Radiónica and Radio Nacional. Later, at RCN Radio, I directed the development of the digital division's products. I learned to build platforms for different kinds of users, caring for the architecture, the experience and what those platforms make possible.
I led and defined the technical execution of the Digital Division's projects: requirements gathering, strategic planning, information architecture and coordination of the development teams. Web and mobile products for the country's most-listened-to radio brands.
I directed the development of digital products across television and radio: concept, information architecture and technical coordination. I headed RTVCPLAY, and led the convergence projects that supported Señal Colombia through its digital transformation.
Aldea Comunicaciones was a pioneering internet, multimedia and design company that served clients such as Caracol Televisión, the General Maritime Directorate and the Ministry of Foreign Trade. I also got to experiment with the earliest forms of communication on the Colombian web.
There were other stops on the road: Gaming Culture (technology management, 2003), where I directed web projects such as the games portal for ETB. I developed my first video games at Mankala Studio, which I tell about in the Games section.
Two ongoing projects from which I keep exploring technology and the digital.
